A turnout pen was required for a lady and her 4 horses suffering from the Winter blues. Options discussed and install was undertaken by her husband as a ‘weekend job’. 5 years later, its still going strong. Very happy customer!
A new barn had been installed, but with the increase of heavy traffic the ground was getting churned up. A new hoof-safe sub-base was provided and install negotiated to incorporate sufficient drainage with substantial solidity under foot.
Our Locally Sourced limestone travels far, being robust enough to provide stability, yet soft enough in composition to be used as a surface dressing & reduce impact injuries when used correctly.
Our 7.5T tipper was the perfect size to ease the installation of a hoof-safe hard standing within a very muddy gateway /track last winter.
We provided end to end service of aggregates for a brand new extremely large water complex in Suffolk. Working with the course designers, not only to advise of the best aggregates, but also to work around specific timeframes to avoid hold ups on site.
A Local Manege was being extended. All Sub Base / suitable drainage aggregates provided and surface sourced & Hauled.
Also used as a stabilizer for muddy gateways, to provide hard standing areas, for use as field shelter bases, and spread on take off & landing areas in X-Country tracks; the limestone in its different forms has a variety of equestrian uses.
For manege construction where good drainage is vital we can offer a range of larger limestones or for a more robust alternative we have a wide range of locally sourced granite products.
We can also source & supply Silica Sand & independently advise on surface dressings from budget sands to specialized surfaces.
